^ If you remember what the students learned in Helios, when a human becomes "Awakened", they become something "closer" to a demon than a human. So, when Rood becomes Blow, unlike any of the other Magicians' Awakened forms, Rood's Awakened form became an older version of himself with black hair. That, itself, is an unusual event. Most Magicians don't seem to age, or, in Ren's own words, "change so drastically".
So, whenever Rood transforms into Blow, he's already channeling his former life's existence (as the human Demon King). Lispen pointed out that the reason Dio couldn't recognize Rood as his former King, is because Rood's personality is different than how it was. (And, can someone just imagine if Rood was never captured by the Tower and stayed with Kiel? How would that personality turn out to be, huh?) However, on another interesting view point, he's like an incomplete "Awakened" form because he doesn't have any memories of his life as a demon. Well, that is until recently, he has attained the highest form of being "Awakened". ^__^ Which is probably something, no other human can attain.
I think Rood can still remove his Awakening. He doesn't even need to say any incantation to transform, but he's still human, regardless of whether he's transformed or not. At this rate, I think he's fully accepted everything about himself. Both his human side and demon past.
As for Lidusis, I think he has a high potential to become a Magician (or, an Awakened magic user). I don't want to see him become a demon. ;__; (Don't think it's that possible in this story, but we saw a demon reborn as a human via Rood.) Maybe, a way for Lidusis to not be consumed by Rood's former power is to learn how to channel it? Because, as long as the power goes unchecked in Lid, it will kill him. If Rood recovers the power, Lid will also die. So, why not? Rood can become Lid's personal private magic tutor. ...... That would be awesome. Lid would become very confident in front of his jealous older brother. Still, it would be nice if Lid's brother gets his own character development phase.
Tokyo Ghoul:Re.... T__T I really need to catch up to where I left off in the manga.....
On a side note: Re-reading Black Haze has seriously paid off on remembering certain scenes.

I know this is a bit late, but this just occurred to me. D:. (Consider this an edit to my above post.) I forgot about Professor Heil!! He went beyond being human and became something like a demon! Well, nevermind of what I said before about a human to demon thing. Although, this does bring up another plot point. How did the Professor obtain such magic that made him change so much? (We know it's through the puppeteer, whoever that is.....)

I don't know if there is a phrase, other than "destiny", "coincidences", "fate", "Hitsuzen", "everything coming together upon the same person", etc. ^__^. We can just leave Rood as an unusual case, indeed. I will catch up on Tokyo Ghoul:Re. I willlll!!! (When I have access to my laptop, again. >__<) Things are really going down, huh..... Thanks for your impressions.
