I think it's because everyone realized that Rood is content being himself. Well, that's the name he recognizes anyways. It's a good question whether the human DK had a name or not. Maybe, he was just addressed as "King"? Because of such respected authority, and his own innocence/ignorance, the poor guy was just never given a name by anyone? Not even whoever gave birth to him? Or, maybe it's "Giant Mysterious All-seeing Eyeball"?So, all throughout his entire life, he's probably been addressed as "King", "Your Majesty", "Your Highness", etc. Since he was clueless, he didn't really care about his own name. However, by growing up again in the human world, I think it gave him a sense of identity that he can claim as his own in some way. That's how I've been seeing it. I see. Thanks for letting me know. ^_^ .... o__o Ok.. Well, at least you have fun drawing them. That's good that you focus on those little details like someone being soaked or cold. That's great attention to detail when you work on stuff like that. it's a fun anime... just hard to follow, and you need to know some history... darn you Yamatonokami and making me look up Okita Souji because you can't shut up about him in the game and the first few eps of the anime. no seriously if you look at his games lines he mentions Okita at least 20 times or so in all of them... ands tries to kill a cat for some reason... i've almost finished drawing Rood and then i just need to draw Blow so i can upload the first batch, then move on to Shic... and Lidusis... i'm seriously gonna feel bad for Lidusis in this. and my Saniwa because she is supposed to bang her head against a wall in that one, with a Shocked Hasebe telling her to stop it before she seriously injures herself. tiny details are some of my favs... yet when it comes to overall stuff... nope. but seriously what Mikazuki said about her feeling like a heater bag is kinda concerning. but seriously she wear a Miko outfit or something close to that and a kimono robe over that plus her blanket thingie... that's three layers of thick clothing! and she still says she feels cold sometimes. lady you have problems. o yeah the full scene for her getting soaked is, She was sitting near the pond that is in the area, some of the Tantou Kids were running around playing and accidentally pushed her in, they then ran to the older swords for help getting her out, cue to them freaking out because the laundry wasn't dry yet, and then them arguing about what to do because apparently japanese people think being soaked makes you catch a cold. she is just sitting there kinda chill watching them being freaked out. so yeah they gathered some of their own spare clothes... only to find out most of them were too big for her. but Horikawa's clothes were fine, and some got them memo a bit late. o yeah later on she also grabbed one of Shokudaikiri's coats to drape over her... because cold, and she likes his coats. so if she's not wearing the blanket for whatever reason, she just steals one of his coats. she has two mode's "cute as hell" and "don't mess because she knows exactly the words needed to talk you down", so yeah... she also switches like a light switch. she does do some stuff around the citadel is she wants or asked, just don't command or she switches, Hasebe has to deal with this a lot, and wonders how Shokudaikiri does it. it seriously just depends on how you ask her. I think I got what you're saying. Thanks for sharing more of your input on the show. (I can see a lot of passion flowing from you on it.) As for the drawing, looking forward to seeing it.

He character seem don't change at all...... Stupid~ stupid~ I'm re watching some old Yu-Gi-Oh episodes, currently. And somehow Kaiba's permanent (annoying) ignorance reminds me of Shic. Both characters somehow don't want to help the main character. Well later on they are forced to.

He's mostly comedic relief with some kind of tragic backstory I'll only care about because I like Lanoste.. The plot could've been moved in other ways I wish he could've been handled like Sesshomaru from Inuyasha. Not very a good example but after 2 run-ins with the main party he was given Rin for development. He's a much better done powerful bratty character.

Oh boy I hate him.. I could write an essay on why I hate him too. : p He was getting kind of better while interacting with Meredith but then they focused him on Rood again. I don't mind when he works together with Rood...but the amount of time that he ACTUALLY does that is very small...most of the time when they "team up" it's just Blow trying to work together and Shic endangering everyone or no cooperating or messing things up. He's not a BAD magician so I KNOW that he COULD act properly! But he keeps choosing not to!! He hasn't grown AT ALL since the series started! He still chooses to act like a small child throwing a temper tantrum! You'd think he'd have learned by now that taunting Blow and not cooperating WILL NOT make Blow fight him. No matter annoyed he gets, he wont fight Shic! ...I just hate that Blow actually tries sometimes! He would be justified to just ignore Shic but he TRIES. Shic doesn't deserve that. I like Shic best when he's with Erren and Van, honestly. And Meredith I agree xD they're better rivals. I feel like he has had a lot of chances to get on Blow's side and keep a rivalry but he just ruins it by being stupid and not damn learning Yeah srsly, he DOESNT do anything at all! Only nagging and complaining about fighting, and if he would join or partner with Rood it would be for fighting like.....a KID wanting a REWARD for his work! HE DOESNT EVEN DO ANYTHING AT ALL. ONLY this time when he kicked the tower magicians' asses he was useful. But it destroyed the plan. Even if he can be a part of the reason for some comedy expressions on Rood, he still needs to work. He's NOT a KID anymore. and finally when I think he would do something, he DOES NOT. when he's with Van and Eren he's somehow a little collected and calmed down, which is better. And I agree, he and Meri form a better pair of rivals than with Rood. The Art in the end of chapter 190 describes more or less! Lastly, I think Lanoste is the worst at parenting! He should try parenting Demons instead. If I was Rood and Shic kept annoying me I would ignore, but if I can't take it anymore then it's another story. I would plan to sneak one night and stab him. Mission completed.
I always stab/hit/smack/kill the ppl I think they're annoying in my head while acting calm in front of them. Which I fee o guilty 'bout

I always stab/hit/smack/kill the ppl I think they're annoying in my head while acting calm in front of them. Which I fee o guilty 'bout I really liked Shic at the beginning. I still like him somehow, but he is really getting annoying meanwhile. What I missed is some kind of character development. This "he doesn't do what others say" was really funny at the beginning, as well as his encounter with Rood. However, this happends every time Rood and Shic met. It's mostly the same. I think it would be better if they start working together better, with each encounter. And I agree with you that Meridth would be a better opponent for Shic. And it would have worked well, if Rood and Shic really had become friends and both (Meria dn Shic) would fight over Rood. At least more like in the few chapters, they do.
