oooohhh i see! Thanks for clarifying that for me! ;w; i have no idea how japanese names work so it always confuses me xD wow thats alot of volumes o.o and yea i heard that once before that it is cheaper there xD whatever suits you best, i'd go for the yen press xD It's okay. That's very understandable if you're not familiar with the language too much. Yeah, it's cheaper to buy some manga in some Asian countries outside of Japan. Taiwan has a lot of access to manga (asides from their localized versions, which are cheaper, but it's not the same quality as English lang. translations), so, no trouble getting those. Ok. You've helped with my decision. Thanks!
That list.... *opens notepad and add this to my watch list* Is Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle worth watching? (I tried watching this but it seems too long *sighs*...)And DGM was my fave too I am really glad that it updated! After 2 years of waiting TT_TT..the girly tears Pandora Hearts.... The feelsssss.. . and by the way I love that human/demon king reunion thingy xD (yay! more things to imagine)I don't know anything about the anime version. I rarely watch the anime adaptations of manga, because most anime adaptations, with the exception of Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood, butchers the original storyline. So, everything on my list are the manga. No anime. The manga, itself, is very complex and confusing at times. Read it at your own pace if you get that chance. Hey have u checked out the TOWER OF GOD series i recommended to u a few wks ago? Yeah, I checked out Tower of God last year, or two years ago? I forgot. I read the first several episodes, but then, I stopped. The MC annoys me a little, but it wasn't really that. The plot wasn't interesting to me. It just didn't glue me in. On top of that, it's a battle shounen webtoon. So, the story is all about battling to the top of the tower and very small plot progression. I just didn't feel motivated to read that kind of story. >__< I'm sorry, kbm. It just wasn't for me. ^___^ its okay. but i should say that the thing u said about the story having little plot progression.....u have no idea how much u misjudged this series. the battle to the top of the tower is only a fraction of what TOG is about. I'm not trying to make u reconsider or anything but 4 me TOG more deals with the characters struggles & their relationships. There are secrets from the past that is affecting the characters in the present. the main character bam isn't the only main character....the story focuses on other characters as well like Koon who is my favorite character becuz he's cold, cunning, highly intelligent & doesnt trust anyone becuz of the type of family he grew up in.....Bam is only one of the few ppl he allows himself to be vulnerable around. Bam changes so much later in the series becuz of what happens 2 him. There is so much more but I just wanted to clarify that....

Since TOG wasnt to your liking then u can check out Kubera: mangapark.me/manga/kubera/s5/c0 Kubera is a good series......i had actually dropped it twice in the beginning bcuz it was a bit slow (4 me at least) but what brought me back was the gorgeous art. kubera is also a very wordy series......it has lots of dialogue, u cant skip any of the dialogue cuz some things abt certain characters are revealed through the character dialogue. it will be a bit confusing in the beginning. ( it was 4 me anyway). Here is the wiki page if u want some info on the characters: kubera.wikia.com/wiki/List_of_characters
you can also try Winter wood.....its a surprisingly deep storyline: www.webtoons.com/en/fantasy/winter-woods/list?title_no=344
Do u like romance? even though winter woods is classified as a romance, this other series can be categorized under shoujo.....its pretty interesting mangapark.me/manga/orange-marmalade

I didn't really like that element in the story. >,< At least, Bam changed, huh? I hope he's gotten smarter?) Thanks for giving me your own review, kbm. The Mangaupdate reviews are generally mixed, which have given me my own mixed feelings on whether I should continue. I'll give it another shot one day if I can, but I will have to stomach through the battles. Those were the boring parts for me.

As for Kubera, I was recommended to read it by someone else a long time ago. I started reading it and lost some interest along the way. But, to me, it is better than ToG. It definitely uses a reverse role cliche on the supporting characters, but it's not too bad. Yeah, they definitely do talk a lot. I'm planning on continuing it when I'm really bored. I wish Kubera was a guy though...., but she's alright. Not my favorite type of protag, but she's definitely OK for a shounen based story. Winter Woods is definitely a good one. I am following that. (Don't worry, I have a long list of webtoons to follow, so it's not like I'm looking for new ones. ^,^) As for Orange Marmalade, I've read the summary, but it doesn't catch my interest. I'm not into vampires and romance all rolled into one. ^__^ (On Webtoons.com, I follow stories like Lessa, Witch Hunt, etc., and a lot of Challenge League webtoons.)

Those were the boring parts for me. if the battles were the boring parts 4 u then dont continue with the story cuz as much as it is just a fraction of the story, it is a continuous part becuz the characters do have to progress to the next floor. the good news is the author does skip a few floors so its not like we go throw each floor. And abt Bam's obsession with rachael.....where we are now in the current chapters bam has to make a decision in regards to that....cant say more without spoiling. As much as i despised him chasing after rachael, i have come to just accept it & focus on the story as a whole. but anyway u shouldnt try to reread the series becuz u seem to despise a lot of core elements to the story so i guess its really not 4 you.
YOU SHOULD HOWEVER GIVE MY OTHER RECOMMENDATIONS A TRY & GIVE ME YOUR CRITIC!!!! LIKE IT OR HATE IT....I WOULD LOVE TO GET YOUR FEEDBACK

I'll take your advice into consideration, but I will still try to re-read ToG just a little to see if my impressions change or not. As for your other recommendations, I forgot to say "thanks" in my last post. You didn't respond to my reaction to any of them, so......? No further words?

you read the whole thread? wow ok....so u read light novels huh? Like what? i think u would mostly find light novels in Japanese or korean instead of the English translated version right? I would consider myself a novice when it comes 2 reading light novels. I have read only 3 light novels- gu fang bu zi shang ( it only has like 21 chap translated 2 english & there are like 64 chapters. i found this series becuz i was first introduced to it through the manga. its a romance), kokoro connect ( again i was only able to read some of the translated chapters online. got introduced 2 it becuz i loved the anime that came out maybe 2yrs ago. i heard it was based of of a light novel so i researched it & found the translated chapters.) and lastly i read the translated chap 4 mahouka koukou no rettousei (got introduced through the anime also, i gotta say the main heroine of the story which is the main male character's sister kind of annoys me sometimes the reason being i hate clingy & obsessive female characters. i guess its becuz of the type of person i am, i have such low tolerance 4 such characters)
So what manga do u read on a weekly or monthly base? & what anime are u currently watching? I read things like magi, tokyo ghoul:re,nanatsu no taizai, fairy tail, blue exorcist on a monthly basis & a couple more. I read a lot of other webtoons besides BH. If u want any recommendation 4 a new webtoon let me know.....it has a few good ones out there...what genre do u like 2 read? romance? or fantasy? action? My two favourite light novels are The Legend of the Sun Knight and Bookmark of Demise, and I read them in English (though I have some volumes of Bookmark of Demise in Japanese at home). I read them because the light novel had more translated chapters than the manga. Also, I watched kokoro connect (twice), but I didn't know that there was a light novel of it. As for manga, my current ones are Bokura no kiseki, Lan Chi, Okobore Hime to Entaku no Kishi, Akagami no shirayukihime, and more than I can not remember right now. I also read/watched most of Fairy Tail, Magi and Blue Exorcist. I watched a lot of different types of anime, but from the ones that are airing, I watch World Trigger, Rampo Kitan and Aoharu x Kikianjuu. As you can probably guess, my interests are very wide, but I mainly like fantasy. I don't really mind what I read/watch as long as the plot is interesting. I am actually the same way, I also watch a variety of different types of anime as long as i find that the plot is interesting. I was introduced to fairy tail through the anime & when it went on hiatus i started reading the manga so now i find its a waste of time watching the anime bcuz i already kno what will happen so the anime has lost its appeal 4 me unless its a fight scene that i really like to c animated, then i will watch that particular ep. Most of the manga u listed i have either read/reading it.....the only ones i dont know are (Okobore & Lan). MAGI is one of my fav and of course i do enjoy fairy tail (most of the time.....until it pisses me off) & I am up to date with blue exorcist....got introduced to it through the anime.....really enjoyed the anime even though i know they changed a lot from the manga. I read other manga 2 like tokyo ghoul:re, seven deadly sins & a couple others I am also currently watching Rampo.....world trigger's pacing was 2 slow 4 me so i dropped it but i liked the characters especially the white haired kid......i am also currently Charlotte......classroom crisis........food wars.....arslan senki
Have u ever watched any sports anime......i never thought i would like such a genre but some are pretty good......u should check out kuroko no basket, its a basketball anime. So how were u introduced to Black Haze? Is it your first webtoon?

Thank you! I've seen you much on comments ^_^ Hello! Always nice to meet new members Nice to meet you too ^_^ Hello and welcome~! Lurking is acceptable too Haha, I hope you have fun on the forum~! Thanks, i'm having fun~~ ^_^ Hi nice 2 meet u ........ We all look forward to getting to know you. I myself am in my 20's, I just finished my bachelors degree in law. will be looking 4 a job soon. I also love anime, manga & webtoons? was BH your first webtoon you ever read? I ask all newbies 2 the site that question becuz they have no idea there are some other interesting webtoons out there (not a lot but a few). I've been watching cartoons since i was a kid. i loved things like scooby doo, duck tales, two stupid dogs etc. it was only until i was 12 or 13 i started watching stuff like yu-gi-oh.....a friend from high school introduced me to naruto, so naruto was the major anime/manga i use to watch....not a big fan of shippuden though
anyway, what types of anime & manga do you read? do u read other webtoons?
Hi! Good luck finding job ^_^ I do read several other webtoons such as Tower of God (one of my favorite), Crepuscule, and Twelve Nights.. I haven't been following Soul Cartel lately.. I love manga ever since 6th grade I think? Meitantei Conan is one the first manga i read and Shinchan.. And i used to watch anime on TV every sunday morning, Digimon Adventure is my absolute favorite.. I prefer shounen manga (Naruto, One Piece, D.Gray-Man, etc), though i do like several good shoujo manga such as Last Game, Kimi no Todoke, Ao Haru Ride, Orange, etc.. I really like fantasy, adventure, action genre.. sometimes with a little bit of drama and tragedy.. And i REALLY love the powerful, secret identity protagonist (like Mahouka).. I like reading several light novel (the translated one) at Baka Tsuki, though lately I haven't.. And one my favorite reading is Legend of Sun Knight (Chinese novel, maybe you've heard?) .. It's super hillarious! If you have know other good manga or webtoons, don't hesitate to recommend it! THANKS SO MUCH! Well here in Trinidad it isnt as bad as in the US where its a LOT of problems finding a job or even keeping one....i dont know how it is in other countries though....BTW Have i finally found one! A fellow TOG fan that loves it as much as I do? I have been trying to get some ppl on this forum to try to read the webtoon....4 those who i have talked 2 abt it....one person told me that they thought the games were boring which is shocking 4 me bcuz it has always been a fun part of the series 4 me, another said they tried it but didnt think it was all that so ended up dropping it, another told me she would check it out but is 2 busy right now....looking @ u Midori! , another one said they do read the series but is kind of a casual reader....only read the series once! unlike me who has read it @ least 3 times! Where did u start reading TOG from? I hope its not from LINE WEBTOONS! Bcuz the translation in the beginning of the series leaves much 2 be desired. I read the company version. Also have u read SIU's blog posts of his thoughts on each chapter? it also provides a little extra info. Crepuscule was interesting in the beginning but i lost interest & 12 nights isnt bad but that whole MC dressing up as a girl & his 1/2 brother doesnt know so he's in love with the MC female counterpart......thats not gonna end well plus i hav a little bit of a problem with the girl the MC likes....she comes off as a bit 2.....i dont even have the words 4 it! I read different types of manga including shounen & I myself read some light novel translated chapters like Gu Fang Bu Zi Shang its an historical romance.....got introduced through the manga...the novel is completed but the translations are so slow to the point of not being translated at all sometimes so i'm pretty pissed about it. I also read the translated chapters 4 mahouka.....are u up to date? some shit is going down.....from what i'm hearing the series will end after a few more volumes. u do know that translations are on wiki 4 that one instead of Baka Tsuki. (RECOMMENDATIONS)You only want manga or webtoons? I have anime recommendations 2 so let me know if u want that.... mangapark.me/manga/kare-wa-tomodachithis is a romance...its completed with only 28chaps but 4 me it was pretty good. what i liked abt it was the characters....the main female character was my favorite, she wasnt timid or shy....she knew what she was about & would not let any1 take advantage of her. it had some adult issue in there as well mangapark.me/manga/kanojo-ni-naru-hi/s5/c1this one is a gender bender, now i dont know how u feel abut that genre....i dont much like it but this one was different & entertaining. i love the series, its up to u if u want 2 check it out mangapark.me/manga/magi-labyrinth-of-magicI actually watched the anime 4 this series first.....the anime was really good...s.1 was ok but s.2 was hands down the best. I started reading the manga after. I highly recommend this series....its fun As for webtoons....I only watch a handful of them. You can find the series that I'm about to mention here: www.webtoons.com/en/dailySchedule#On mondays i read nobleese & wind breaker. wind breaker is a sports webtoon....the art is so good that u would think its anime screenshots! Nobleese right now isnt my fav series but the first few seasons 4 me was boss so u shud check it out.....Frankenstein is one of the best characters ever! # Orange marmalade is a very funny love story between a female vampire & a guy who just won't leave her alone.lol In this world vampires are known 2 every1 but they are discriminated against so a lot of them hide this fact 2 live a normal life. its actually a completed series....can find the rest on mangapark # I also read kubera....this series started off really slow 4 me @ least but thing started 2 pick up when Yuta enters the story. this series is good becuz like TOG there are no black & white bt a lot of gray characters. its said that kubera is a series where there are no villains only victims of circumstance. If u decide 2 read it...it can be a bit confusing but hang in there. A word of advice, dont skip the characters conversations. the reason being, a lot of background info on other characters are revealed through conversation. kubera is a f*cking wordy series so if u dont like to read then skip this one! # winter woods is not your typical romance & i like that....highly recommend this one #I read girls of the wilds but i dont recommend it 2 any1, i always say read @ your own risk! the beginning was great but.....& it still has its moments but...

TOG is great! (love baam, hate rachel) I don't know why lately people are complaining with the development.. I absolutely love it! So many misteries! I usually read manga/manhwa/webtoons either from mangainn, mangahere, or mangacow (for black haze).. I haven't tried reading from LINE.. Where do you read SIU's blog? Is it translated? I agree that Crepuscule lately isn't that good anymore, too bad I really like it at first.. twelve nights actually already finished on naver, but haven't been translated.. I saw the raw and yes, i think the end isn't quite satisfying.. (and i don't like the girl also, really...annoying) I love mahouka! I read the light novel until volume 13, after that it got licensed at baka tsuki.. do you possibly know where else i can read it?? I'm dying to read the continuation >_< i heard it's already volume 17! i'm curious with volume 16&17!! It's what i've been waiting for!! I read Magi, though lately i like Sinbad adventure more than the original.. and i read Kubera also, yuta and leez is so cute! it is a little confusing though I'll try reading the other webtoons later.. Thanks for the recommendation! Finally i have something to read.. been looking for a good reading, but since there's so many it's hard to choose! Do you know any interesting sports manga? I read Kuroko and most of Adachi's manga.. (have you read Pandora Hearts? it's fantasy and tragedy but it's good!)

(have you read Pandora Hearts? it's fantasy and tragedy but it's good!) First things first....here is the link 4 TOG SIU's blog post translations:docs.google.com/document/d/1Xa0LgWpn0zZ0ubtnWUeN5S1fKWjBRxBU4uhWQuZ9r0g/edit?pli=1
& here is the link where i read the translated summary of mahouka light novel:mahouka-koukou-no-rettousei.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Light_Novel
So yeah i am a HUGE FAN of TOG....i also despise the thing called "rachael"! Can u believe that there are ppl that try to justify her actions & think she is this great & powerful character & oh she was the one who saved Bam's life back @ the floor of test & I'm like hav u read some secret chap that the rest of us havent read? what the hell are u talking about.....the thing that irks me the most with these rachael fans is the fact that u just cant reason with them....even with all the E showing her true colors they still believe in her 4 some reason! I tell those rachael fans that they are just as delusional as she is! I like Baam fine but I really wish he will get over this dependence he has on rachael becuz he is playing in2 whatever game she is playing! Now i am not like other ppl who have no patience 4 bam's obsession with rachael....yes i think its annoying but i cant really blame him becuz i have told other ppl who read the series that u have 2 look @ it from Bam' POV.....not becuz some1 hurts u doesnt mean that u stop loving that person....u may hate them 4 a while but u dont stop loving that person....it takes time & a willingness 2 move on from that person & we have seen that bam is not at this point ready 2 move on from rachael. So no bam is not my fav....that position belongs 2 KOON! he is just awesome.
Yes i have heard of pandora hearts...i think i tried in a few yrs ago but didnt 2 particularly like it....i might try it again. But I'm not a big fan of tragedy genre...my thinking is, my life is pretty sad as it is so whats the point in making myself more depressed my watching a tragedy! If your looking 4 a sports mango why dont u try Haikyuu? the anime was pretty decent. U are good, I would quicker watch a sports anime that read the manga first! kuroko was an amazing anime....its my all time fav sports anime!
PS- what type of genre do u like when reading manga/webtoon etc or anime? I am not restricted 2 any type of genre as long as i think the storyline was interesting

I read other manga 2 like tokyo ghoul:re, seven deadly sins & a couple othersI am also currently watching Rampo.....world trigger's pacing was 2 slow 4 me so i dropped it but i liked the characters especially the white haired kid......i am also currently Charlotte......classroom crisis........food wars.....arslan senki Have u ever watched any sports anime......i never thought i would like such a genre but some are pretty good......u should check out kuroko no basket, its a basketball anime. So how were u introduced to Black Haze? Is it your first webtoon? I also stopped watching the anime for fairy tail and read the manga instead, but I have not read the latest chapters of the manga (cause it is a bit repetitive). I also watched a few sports anime including Kuroko no Basket and Haikyuu. Some of my other favourite anime are Dangan Ronpa, Humanity has declined and Hakkenden: Touhou Hakken Ibun. As for Black Haze, I found it by clicking the surprise button on the manga site XD. It was my first webtoon, but I have also read TAL, divine bells, Noblesse, and the gamer.

I think Noblesse has become the most repetitive series along with another webtoon that i read girls of the wilds. have u tried tower of god yet what about winter woods? u should give them a few chapters & c if u like it. Here is the link: mangapark.me/manga/tower-of-god/s3/c1 & www.webtoons.com/en/fantasy/winter-woods/list?title_no=344&page=5
I've never heard of humanity has declined or dangan ronpa, i have seen hakkenden but found it was a bit boring 4 me.

BTW Did u know that divine bells is completed....on naver. I was looking @ the pic for the last chap.....& talk abt rushed! the final battle & the conclusion 2 the series was on the same chap.....it wasnt a satisfying end @ all. I was really hoping that we would hav gotten an epilogue with the characters a few yrs in2 the future! the series just had what happened immediately after the final battle & then it ended. come 2 think of it, i wanted kuroko no basket 2 hav an epilogue chap....no such luck! 4 me, i dont feel a series is completed unless it has an epilogue! not all the time its required but sometimes i feel it does

I read Mahouka wiki too, but i'm still hoping for full translation..someday.. Rachel is REALLY annoying! i'm rooting for Koon to kill her really! Baam attachment to Rachel sometimes makes me frustrated too.. maybe Baam still didn't understand her reason, and that's why he's still after her? after all, she's the first person he met and he considered important.. I ship Baam with Androssi or Yuri, doesn't really like Yeon.. i don't know why i love tragedy genre, maybe because it's usually have a great story line.. beautiful yet heart wrenching, unlike my plain, boring life (doesn't mean that i want tragedy to befall mine though).. Pandora Hearts, 07 ghost, and d.gray-man (finally updated again after years, thank god) is so beautiful.. i have read Haikyuu, but i stopped reading it.. i don't remember why.. maybe i'll try picking it again.. Kuroko is great.. for me, i love kuroko's interaction with the generation of miracle more than his current teammates.. maybe because i think together they're just perfect.. i've once read a novel version of Kuroko about their middle school event (i think it's about trying to find a copy machine that somehow turn into little adventure) it's so good! i prefer fantasy genre, with adventure and action included.. although i don't restricted myself to only that.. as long as it have a good/interesting story line and good art work, i'm fine with other genres..
