Oooh, I hadn't made that connection! What a great thought! I'd love a human/demon king reunion :3 So you've been running on the theory that the Demon King is the only one (or at least one of the only ones) to be reincarnated? Any thoughts on why he would've been cursed? If that's the case, I'm thinking something along the lines of being considered a traitor for saving the humans when the demons attacked, and being cursed to live as one. But who (or what) would have that power? So far it seems like the Demon King(s?) has the highest power ... I suppose it's possible that it was a God. Maybe their God has a definite existence. But then why didn't the God help the humans when they were attacked, and why would he curse the one that saved them? Hmm ... Perhaps it's a sort of Noah's Ark scenario. Like God was trying to cleanse the human race. But then the Demon King stepped in and ruined that, so the God cursed him, forcing him to endure the world that he protected. I think I'm probably reaching too far with that last section. Have you got any theories on what would have done the cursing, if it were a curse? Actually, we've already been shown the existence of two separate worlds, connected through the Doors. What if there's an underworld-style place, also connected through the Doors? So then regular people would be trapped there upon dying, but the Demon King is capable of leaving through the creation of a mini-Door. Still, the exertion required to create this Door are too great for him to let any others out alongside him or to create a permanent Door. His old physical body is destroyed, so his soul ends up in the body of a dead human and this is just getting more and more farfetched so I think I'll stop ^^; Aghhh TG nooooo! I was hoping it'd be a case of 'third time lucky', but my hopes were thwarted again! Oh well, you've definitely got me thinking again Yep. The human king and Demon King reunion would be awesome. You made a good theory as to why he could be turned into a human for saving the humans. I can see it go that way. You're also using God as a possible source for that change, if he is in fact, acknowledged in the story once more. Here are my own thoughts. I theorize the Demon King may have sacrificed his life to save the humans. The fairytale prologue mentioned what happened to the evil demons, but they never mentioned what happened to the true hero of the humans. It never said what happened to the Demon King. The fairytale covered "Demon King" with "God". However, what if God did exist in this story? What if the Demon King met God, and God was touched by the Demon King's act and turned him into a human? Before you go, "waaait-a-minute!? God's reward to the Demon King is turn him into a human??" Now, what if the Demon King wanted it this way? What if he really didn't want his power any more, and was willing to pass it down the royal line? Maybe, as an act of atonement that the demons ravaged the human world? Then, this outcome wouldn't be a curse now, would it? However, for the fairytale prologue to have a real happy ending, all the evil demons have to either be killed or returned to the demon world, right? But, they weren't, which is what makes this fairytale funny. This fairytale didn't have a happy ending. Just a fairytale reason as to why humans now have powers and magic marks on their bodies. So, another what if theory would be the tragedy or cursed one. The Demon King sacrificed himself to save the humans leads to reincarnation on God's term. I'm repeating this simple tragedy theory, but with a twist. What if a certain loyal demon to the King didn't want that to happen? The Demon King casted a spell in the human world to give certain humans powers to fend off any evil demons, but at the expense of his own life. He became very weak and died. The loyal demon hated the humans for this. He might've created a spell where it would preserve the Demon King's soul, but since the King died in the human world, it would have to be recycled among the human souls. The Demon King's power would find its way back to the demon world since its original owner passed away. So, the loyal demon waited for the day when the Demon King would return to the world. In the meantime, the humans craved for more power so they captured a humongous demon, formed the Tower and sucked the demon bone dry of his abilities. Hence, we get the Tower known today for any horrible experiments. But, this theory still doesn't include the human king and a curse. Well, the human king might've died naturally in life, went to Heaven, and somehow got his soul to go through a cycle of rebirth? Could be just that simple of a reason. But, it's too much of a coincidence for a prince (look-alike descendant) and Rood to show up together. The human king might've had a tragic ending to his life when someone felt that he was too close to the Demon King. A friendship between the human king and the king of demons must have sounded blasphemous to the humans of that time. So, the human king may have ended up being locked away, while the rest of his family were forced to replace his own existence. Then, the true story was fabricated to make it sound like the human king got God to grant him a miracle. You'll never know.... History tends to be twisted even in real life. So, the human king passed away in prison not knowing how much some of his people would start screwing around with nature's balance. If he was ever reborn, he may try to set things right starting with the Tower. >__> But wait! I still didn't say "curse"? Maybe, the humans made their own curse by forgetting about the Demon King, twisting their own history, capturing the huge demon, forming Tower, and doing experiments? So, this endless cycle of the Tower's sins (ironically) will have to be put to a halt by the reincarnations of those, who were involved with the beginning of everything. As for Meredith, Tower's Founder, I have a feeling he lived a loooong time. His cute childish appearance can be deceiving. Adding on top of all these theories, since you mentioned the Door, we have to figure out who was it that opened the door to the "Demon World". A human? (Possibility of other worlds, besides human and demon worlds?) And I'm running out of time/batt. juice again. Until tomorrow.... ^___^ *salutes* oh my god... so much deep thoughts going on... I should learn from you and start thinking deeper into the plot T^T but yea good analysis sounds reasonable If you want some advice, I can recommend you to find manga/manhwa and video games that are easily not so straight-forward. Years of theorizing so long is what brings out the inner analyst in you. that's a good idea XD thank you~ any recommendations?

that's a good idea XD thank you~ any recommendations? In terms of manga/manhwa/webtoons? Sure. Some of these, you may have heard of, or read, due to their popularity. To add on though, some of these stories are completed, therefore, all the theorizing that people had over the years have also stopped. However, if you choose to read them, you should stay far away from forums that talk about these stories. ^__^ Another note: It's a range of different genres and story types. MANGA --- Skip Beat! (shoujo - comedy - drama - romance) -- This is a story that can't be judged by its cover. Detective Conan (shounen - science fantasy - mystery - drama) -- A very long popular series. It's a weekly shounen, but the fan-service is tame. It's a mystery story, so, it has a lot of blood and murdered people. The main story stretches very long and slow, which annoys me. However, if you love mysteries, you'll try to predict the outcome of each case. That is the main draw to this series. Pandora Hearts (shounen - dark fantasy - mystery - drama) -- A very twisty manga. Everyone was theorizing left and right like crazy. Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle and its sequel, Tsubasa World Chronicle: Nirai Kanai-hen. (shounen - fantasy - adventure - mystery) -- If you're familiar with CLAMP and love Cardcaptor Sakura, this is a very complex story that goes beyond finding lost memories. Every big CLAMP twist made people go, "uraah". If you want to a full round experience, read XXXHOlic as well. It's seinen, but it goes hand-in-hand with Tsubasa for a reason. 07-Ghost (josei -- fantasy -- mystery) -- A religious based fantasy with a lot of bromance. ^_^ T.R.A.P. (seinen -- sports -- mystery -- supernatural) -- The mystery revolves around a shorty, who has memory loss. This series runs only a few volumes so not much to theorize on except for the cute MC, and those who knew him. JOKE:ЯR'S (josei - action - sci-fi) -- Only three volumes long. It still has some mystery, but I can kind of see why it didn't last too long. :/ Still worth a mini-theory, because the story confuses me. Haha... (:-D) Bokura no Kiseki (josei - fantasy - drama - mystery - high school) -- My FAVORITE josei. <3 This is theory worthy in every chapter. It's a guarantee guessing game on this story. D.Gray-Man (shounen - fantasy - mystery - drama - Victorian era) -- My no. 1 favorite shounen. It's got the twisted religious organization (done right), character development, lots of mystery, a mysterious protagonist, and several twists. The DGM fandom theorizes constantly to a point that Japanese 2ch fake spoilers drive us mad. @_@ Karneval (josei - fantasy - magic - mystery - circus) -- Lovely josei that deals with experiments that have gone wrong. The only slight downside is that it's drawn by a guy. X__X IF you read this up to some of the latest chapters, you will see why. (Ugh...) I'll cap the manga list here. I can definitely list more, but they become a bit more obscure. I read a lot of josei these days, so I can't really recommend too much of shoujo. A lot of shoujo stories can't make you theorize too much compared to the josei stories. Even Cardcaptor Sakura had a little bit of mystery, but not enough to go all out crazy on it. WEBTOONS --- Automata - but the manhwaga canceled it. ;___; It was about to get an official translation too. S.I.D. - Supernatural Investigation Department Divine Bells Trace --> A looong series with some mysteries. The downside to this story is that it keeps gaining more characters. There is a centralized plot though. It requires patience. Pinocchio - A sweet supernatural shoujo webtoon. You will have some questions that will drive you towards finishing it. Yeah, I may have typed too much last night. >__< Sorry, eriso!! Take your time responding back!

PH.....my OTP never come true...a heartbreaking manga, used to like Jack, then Break,......................................I'll change my icon back tomorrow..... Yeah, my post was really long. (Sorry sorry....) ^^; You can just easily do an "@ tg" if you want to use my quote as a reference/response. For this particular forum, I always use the laptop for it, due to the lengthy quote system. I can't respond so easily from my phone, as I can understand that if this board was viewed from the phone, all the posts look very long! :0 Getting back more OT..... Detective Conan isn't easy for everyone to read through. Very understandable and fair response. Even I take hiatus breaks from the story, because the filler cases do feel a little repetitive, outside of the real plotline cases. What I like about the story are the people, who are hiding their true identities. I follow it for that, but as I said before, I do reading hiatus breaks in order for the story to progress a little more. Yay, another fellow DGM nut. Niiice. And you know what? We, DGM fans, have been everywhere prior to Hoshino-sensei's hiatus. Many of us have congregated to one particular forum known as MangaHelpers. (I won't exactly hide that my username here is connected to a username over there. ^^; ) So, if you looked harder, you would've found us quite easily. And yes. I noticed your avatar is a PH one. I tried to finish Skip Beat! but the art was....... it wasn't bad, but I just can't stick with that style very long... Detect Conan yea well everyone knows that XD I've never heard of Tsubasa... and so much of the others....... I'll look into them thank you for the suggestions! ^^ btw is this Pinocchio the same as that Pinocchio korean drama...? 0.0 Well, her art style does take some time getting use to, but it's understandable from your viewpoint. (And Skip Beat isn't done yet. ^__^ So, you're far from finishing it. Haha...) If you think her artwork from wherever you left off looked weird, you should have seen her Tokyo Crazy Paradise artwork. It looks even weirder, and that was hard for me to get into. So much so, that I can't even read past the first couple of pages in that story before having to quit it. However, for Skip Beat!, her artwork changed over the years, so, the characters don't look as odd as they use to. If you ever give Skip Beat! another chance, you won't be disappointed in terms of the story. It's definitely one of the better shoujo mangas out there with a strong female protag, nice humor, secrets, and characters facing their inner darkness. There is a lot of character development in the story. Even for some of the side characters. The Skip Beat! forum community at MangaFox is the most active one, with people theorizing constantly about the characters and where the story goes. If you need a place to talk about the story, that's the one site to hit. You're welcome. ^_^ I have no idea. I didn't know there is a Pinocchio K-drama series. However, this webtoon Pinocchio is super-natural, involves an amnesiac ghost, a necklace, and some mystery. Does the K-drama series use that premise too? (Speaking of K-dramas, they're now filming a "Cheese in the Trap" live action... :/ Hmm...)

I haven't read Pinocchio yet but the drama has aired from 2014 to January of this year. I wonder if there has been any other webtoons that had a drama adaptation. I know that Dr. Frost did since the manhwa was popular apparently, though I could never get past a couple of chapters.
I had the same feeling about Cheese in the Trap as well XD. The main guy was always secretly looking down on everyone & had this hate attitude written all about him I couldn't stand it anymore. Untouchable was a much more cuter romance in my opinion.

:/ Hmm...) Thanks for the information :D I'll make a nick there,but,...I think I like this forum better :P I ship Allena so it'll be a little hard for me to fit in,plus I'm currently obsessed with BH so :) thanks for the information and uh...I'll try to find you there

I saw......... have they decided the casting yet? I actually stopped reading cheese in the trap too... really didn't like the main male character...Ok. ^_^ Alright. I think they're still announcing more of the casting, according to Youtube? I don't follow K-dramas, but this news perked my ears a little when I discovered it by accident. As for putting Cheese in the Trap on a halt, that's fine. Yeah, the main male lead is kind of messed up. That's why he has a long character development process throughout the story. The manhwaga really does review his past bad deeds, so, that shows in his development how much he remembered it. Mostly thanks to Sul. Sul serves as the "reminder" for him. ^___0 i.e. ------ Papers on the floor scene. That gets brought up twice later on...
Oh wow. The spoiler tag DOES work. Hoorah. Automata - but the manhwaga canceled it. ;___; It was about to get an official translation too. From what the blog and the notice on Daum/Naver says, the author hasn't dropped it. They say there were some problems and they plan on completing it slowly, but eventually. Basically, they're saying they haven't given up yet, but it will take a while to finish and I guess it also implies that it will have irregular releases?

I haven't read Pinocchio yet but the drama has aired from 2014 to January of this year. I wonder if there has been any other webtoons that had a drama adaptation. I know that Dr. Frost did since the manhwa was popular apparently, though I could never get past a couple of chapters.
I had the same feeling about Cheese in the Trap as well XD. The main guy was always secretly looking down on everyone & had this hate attitude written all about him I couldn't stand it anymore. Untouchable was a much more cuter romance in my opinion.Yea........ He's a bit weird... and the type of weird that I don't like... but I love the main female character :> she's so cute >,< It's also hilarious how there's only like 50 chapters of cheese in the trap translated but there's like 200 chapters in Korean Untouchable? when I read it, it only had 2 chapters I think... I need to check it.

I don't follow k-dramas either XD my friends do tho, so I hear this and that But it's slooow ;v; the developments are really slow (well that's more realistic, but still ;v; ) I also don't like how Sul likes Jung, even though he changed for the better... I just like Sul too much and like Jung too little ;v; though I do wish her happiness
